    Technical Support Engineer

    The Technical Support Engineer will help support our customers, as well as demonstrate and deploy BUFFERZONE Security products.

    Responsibilities
    • Using the company’s ticketing system to take care of support requests from customers and prospects, while being responsible to follow up, providing resolution and verifying customer satisfaction
    • Communicating customer issues and requests to product management and R&D
    • Helping customers solve technical issues online (using tools such as WebEx)
    • Installing, configuring and upgrading the products in customers’ environments
    • Providing technical demonstrations of the product and its capabilities
    
    Requirements
    • 3 years’ experience as a technical support personnel working with customers worldwide
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (WebEx, emails, documentation, etc.)
    • Experience providing Tier 2-3 support
    • Experience supporting web applications
    • Experience working with Windows OS
    • Experience installing and configuring IIS and MS SQL Server
    • Background in software development ( mostly Windows Applications)
    • Knowledge of SCCM, build management, and debug tools is a plus
    • Mother tongue level of English (reading and writing)

     

    QA Engineers

    BUFFERZONE’s QA team is responsible for verifying that all product releases meet the highest standards. As a member of the QA team, the QA engineer will be responsible for planning, writing and executing product test plans, both manual and automatic. The job requires a good understanding of the MS Windows environment, Windows applications, client-server systems, and security applications.

    Responsibilities
    • Planning test cycles according to Product Requirements, Design Documents and work plans
    • Writing detailed and creative manual and automated test plans
    • Creating and executing tests
    • Providing technical support for the product when needed, mostly in English
    
    Requirements
    • Excellent English – spoken and written
    • Self-motivated and independent learner
    • Team-oriented, methodical and organized
    • Energetic and willing to work in a fast paced environment
    • Prior experience with Active Directory, networks, file sharing systems, security software
    • 2-3 years experience in QA – an advantage
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent technical field experience – an advantage
    • Prior experience with JIRA – an advantage

    Inside Sales Professionals

    • Schedule a presentation/demonstration with the appropriate party
    • Track and follow up on opportunities
    
    Requirements
    • 1- 3 years’ experience in prospecting/inside sales environment
    • Experience in a technology company – cyber/information security an advantage
    • Aggressive, motivated and self-driven
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Good organization skills
    • Resides in the NY tri-state area
    • US Citizen or green-card holder

    Sales Engineers

    The Sales Engineer will support the sales efforts in the US region.  This role will work closely with sales as the technical lead in business development efforts.  The Sales Engineer will lead presentations, assessing customer needs, responding to RFPs, recommend solutions as a trusted adviser and work as a liaison to various roles within the company.

    Responsibilities
    • Demonstrations and presentations of solutions to the customer and at product events
    • Technical lead with the customer through the discovery, RFP and presales phases
    • Consult with customer on asset management and security objectives
    • Convey customer requirements and advise on solution integration.
    
    Requirements
    • Prior endpoint or PC lifecycle or asset management experience – min 4 years
    • Understanding of security concepts around firewalls, anti-virus and encryption
    • Experienced with operating system and network domains (Window Server, Active Directory)
    • BsC in Computer Science or similar, SCCM certification is a plus
    • Travel required about 25% of the time
